It says done and there is no more install option but where do you launch them from as there is no shortcut for them?

At least for the GV08, once you have installed the apps by going to the file manager and clicking on each one and receiving a “Done” message. YOU MUST GO INTO THE SETTINGS AND “Restore Settings”. It will show up after your do “Restore Settings” that shortcuts in the Menu will appear.

I had facebook and whats app preinstalled they just needed the correct APN settings but they are not actually apps just web browser shortcuts.
I’ve been trying to find a firmware to mod it all the ones that work have either no touchscreen or has weird pixels at the bottom of the screen.

You can download the Facebook.vxp app from the above downloads section and it works perfectly. Regarding WhatsApp there is no application available as of now. Regarding the preinstalled Facebook and WhatsApp they are useless and doesn’t work at all.
It is difficult to find the correct modded firmware for the watch because there are many variants of DZ09 available in the market and this is the reason why some firmware’s brick the touchscreen and some color production etc.

No, not yet. Instead try this method, hope it works.
Insert SIM inside the watch and dial *#00000000# . It should open Game Center or Some kind of Store from where you can download games.
