Every smartphone manufacturer releases the USB Drivers for their devices. They come as a standard standalone application and are easy to install on any Windows computer. Once installed, they help the users in performing necessary activities like transferring music, videos, pictures, and documents between your computer and mobile. Apart from transferring media, they also help in executing ADB and fastboot commands.
What are Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 drivers?
The purpose of the OEM USB Drivers released by the mobile vendors is only applicable until your device is in fully working condition. But what if your device is bricked, because you have flashed incompatible firmware on your device. In such cases, Android USB Drivers will not be able to detect your device once it is connected to your computer. Thus, flashing stock ROM using fastboot or tools like Samsung Odin, Mi Flash Tool, and LGUP would not be possible.
But if Qualcomm Snapdragon processor powers your device, then there are chances that you can boot into EDL Mode and flash stock firmware using the QPST tool and recover your device from the bricked state.
When your device is connected to the computer in EDL Mode (Emergency Download Mode), it will be detected as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". Thus, EDL Mode is sometimes referred to as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 Mode".
So, if you want to unbrick your Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered device, then you must download Qualcomm USB Drivers and install them on your PC. So, here is the tutorial on how to setup Qualcomm qhsusb_bulk driver on Windows along with direct download links for Qualcomm Driver.
