How to Unbrick and Install CM 12 on YU Yuphoria YU5010 – Stock Firmware

This tutorial shows how to install Official CM 12 on YU Yuphoria YU5010 Smartphone and unbrick it.

YU Yuphoria is the first metal framed smartphone in the company’s list of Smartphones. The device has beautiful design and packs good specs at low price tag of Rs 6,999. It runs on Cyanogen Mod 12 on the top of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS. In this tutorial we will show you how to unbrick YU Yuphoria YU5010 Android Smartphone by installing the Stock official CM 12 on YU Yuphoria. So if you have soft bricked your device then this tutorial might come to your rescue.

Early Preparations:

1. If you are able to boot Yuphoria then consider taking a backup of all of your important data and settings.

2. Enable USB Debugging on Yuphoria from Developer Options.
3. Charge Yuphoria to at least 75-80%.
4. Download and install Yuphoria USB Drivers on PC.
5. Setup ADB and Fastboot drivers – Windows | Mac

How to Install Official CM 12 on YU Yuphoria YU5010:

Step 1: Download the CM 12 Official firmware package and Flash Tool on your PC.

Step 2: Extract the Flash Tool Package to a folder and then extract all the firmware files inside the Flash Tool folder. Make sure flash-all.bat and firmware files (system.img, boot.img etc.) are inside the same folder.

Step 3: Power off YU Yuphoria and boot into Fastboot Mode and connect it to PC.

Step 4: Run flash-all.bat and wait for it flash all the firmware files to Yuphoria.

Step 5: Once done, device will reboot automatically.
