Getting Prepared:
- Make a backup of entire data on Yuphoria to safe place, as unlocking Bootloader wipes all of your data and settings.
Backup and Restore SMS
Backup and Restore Call Logs
Backup and Restore Contacts
Backup files stored on internal storage to PC, or move them to external SD card.
- Enable USB Debugging on Yuphoria.
- Charge YU Yuphoria to at least 75%, before you proceed with unlocking process.

How to unlock Bootloader on YU Yuphoria YU5010:
Step 1: Power off YU Yuphoria and boot it into Fastboot / Bootloader Mode. To do so press the volume up button and connect it to PC, while the volume up button is pressed.
Step 2: Open the Fastboot folder on PC and press and hold shift key and right click inside the Fastboot folder at the empty space and choose open command window here.
Step 3: In CMD type the following commands and hit enter after each command.
fastboot -i 0x2A96 devices
This command will show list of devices connected to PC in Fastboot / Bootloader Mode. If no devices are shown, then make sure to install the USB drivers correctly.
fastboot -i 0x2A96 oem unlock
This command will unlock Bootloader on YU Yuphoria wiping all the data and settings.
fastboot -i 0x2A96 reboot
This command will reboot your device into normal mode.

I have an issue with yuphoria.
I don’t have my USB debugging enabled and am stuck in cyanogen boot screen.
This happened after installing chainfire 3d in my new yuphoria.
Can u pls help me out of this.
How do I get to fastboot or recovery mode without USB debugging enabled?
My device is rooted.
Boot your device into Recovery Mode and clear all the data, cache and media (Factory Reset). To boot into Recovery Mode, press and hold Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously until you see YU logo.
My Yuphoria is stuck on Cyanogen Logo after trying to install new updates. Phone is not detecting phone.
how can i flash it now?
can’t unlock oem…it’s saying that oem unlock is not allowed…please help
Go to Settings > Developer Options and look for OEM Unlock options, if it is located then enable it and follow the unlocking procedure again.

Make sure you have installed USB Drivers and ADB & Fastboot drivers on your PC.
