YU Yutopia is the latest Android Smartphone from YU Televentures and is powered by CyanogenMod OS. It was launched back in December 2015 with the price tag of Rs 24,999. The device packs some high-end hardware and features. It comes with 5.2 Inch display with 2K resolution and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It also comes with extra features like fingerprint scanner etc. In this tutorial we are going to show you how to unlock bootloader YU Yutopia YU5050 CyanogenMod Smartphone.

How to Unlock Bootloader on YU Yutopia YU5050:

Step 1: Power off YU Yutopia and boot into Fastboot Mode. How?

• Connect one end of USB cable to PC and make sure Yutopia is turned off.
• Press and hold the Volume Up key and connect the other end of the USB cable to the device.

Step 2: Once you are in Fastboot Mode, connect your device to PC.

Step 3: If you have installed the Fastboot drivers system-wide then just open the command prompt on your PC or else open the Fastboot folder and press and hold the shift key and right click inside the folder and choose open command window here.

Step 4: Now in CMD type the following command to proceed with the unlock process.

fastboot -i 0x2A96 devices

This command shows the list of devices connected to PC in Fastboot mode. It is used to ensure that Yutopia is connected to PC properly.

fastboot -i 0x2A96 oem unlock

This command wipes all of your data and settings and unlocks the bootloader on YU Yutopia.

fastboot -i 0x2A96 reboot

This command reboots YU Yutopia into normal mode.
