How to update Micromax Unite 2 A106 to Android 5.0 Lollipop:

Step 1: Download and extract the firmware file on PC.

Step 2: Run SP Flash Tool on PC as administrator.

Step 3: Load the Scatter File from the extracted firmware files on SP Flash Tool by clicking on Scatter-loading button and selecting MT6582_Android_scatter.txt

Step 4: Now make sure all the firmware files are loaded in SP Flash Tool, if any file fails to load then load it manually.

Step 5: Choose Firmware Upgrade from the dropdown.

Step 6: Remove battery from Micromax Unite 2 A106 and after few seconds re-insert it and don’t power your device on.

Step 7: Hit the Download button on SP Flash Tool and connect your device to PC.

Note: If your device starts charging then it is not detected by the SP Flash Tool, in that case hit stop on SP Flash Tool and remove the battery and connect your device without battery and try.

Step 8: Now all the firmware files are flashed on Micromax Unite 2 A106. Once done you will see green tick mark. At this time disconnect your device and turn it on after inserting battery if removed.
